Mass Effect 2

The first game (mass effect 1) was released in a special “limited edition” release (Mass Effect 1 Limited Edition Copy) – but will mass effect 2 get a similar release? We haven’t heard anything from bioware on this yet but as fans of the first games extra exclusives we would love to see another version with the new game. If they make a mass effect 2 limited edition no doubt there will be a huge number of people buying that over the regular copy of the game, especially as such a cult following now cant wait for the game to be released. We expect there to be a special limited edition version of mass effect 2, but we might have to wait for it – if the additional extra’s like documentary’s stories, videos etc about the game are included it might take them a while to record/ get these ready – but definitely where with the first mass effect buyers may have cautiously brought a non limited edition copy, anyone who did play the first one is likely to buy the full version with all the extras of the second game – because it captivated its audience so well. Do you think bioware will release a limited edition Mass Effect 2 this year?

This great two part video was included in the limited edition version of mass effect 1 (will there be a limited edition mass effect 2?) and is a small documentary made about the first mass effect rpg game. If you did not buy the original limited edition masseffect1 then you may not have seen this, if your a fan you should definitely give it some time. Split into two parts here is the Making of Mass Effect video. Note the repetitive signing in with XBOX live and the many an interesting discussion with the developers!

Watch this fan-tastic mass effect 2 trailer (Sorry for the pun) – this mass-effect2 trailer was written and produced by a big fan of the original mass effect. Its well worth watching and is nicely done. The fan claims that mass effect 1 was the best rpg he has ever played. This un-official fan created media is great and really supports the new game – we love seeing this fan work on mass effect because we are fans just like you! Watch this fan trailer now, if you are a mass effect fan that is!

If you haven’t already seen the interview with the creators of Mass effect 1 (Directors of Bioware) then watch this – its entitled “The Good Doctors from bioware discuss mass effect 2″ and is well worth a watch:

Well not much yet actually – we are anticipating mass effect 2 so much we wish they would release a little few more sneak peaks soon. According to their latest update on twitter Bioware cant resist and “don’t want to wait until e3″ before they give us some more mass effect 2 information. Given that the E3 show starts in June we can rest assured within the next month and a half its likely we will see some more information, maybe a few game previews and such released. It would be great to have a playable mass effect 2 demo released, but I suppose something needs to be saved for E3?

Do you think there will be a playable Mass Effect 2 Demo at E3? Bioware havent even rumbled that there will be but you never know with these companies!

Their twitter update reads: “Marketing hint from this morning’s team meeting. You may not need to wait till E3 for more Mass Effect 2 information” – given that its external (taken from “Marketing”) chances are they have a plan, as soon as we know more we will keep you posted!
