Mass Effect 2 Multiplayer
In a MTV Multiplayer interview Greg Zeshuk and Ray Muzyka have given hints away that Mass effect 2 may be multiplayer! Bioware have not formally confirmed this in anyway but it does lead opening questions as to how the rpg Mass Effect 2 will be made to be useable as a multiplayer game – what gameplay will be multiplayer and how will it affect the game? Will it have the current fad gaming of co-op or will the multiplayer be more deathmatch style? As of yet nothing confirmed but you can read the interview with the mass effect 2 creators on multiplayer.mtv.com.
Pushed for a more conclusive answer the bioware bosses said the “full feature set for Mass Effect 2 hadn’t yet been fully disclosed” – this means it should be out soon to us – and we very much hope to hear/read the words co-op and or other types of multiplayer gameplay hitting mass effect 2. Muzkya does say “But multiplayer is something that, at a broad level, BioWare is interested in exploring in our games in the future. The good news is that we have a great multiplayer game that’s co-op in “The Old Republic,” our “Star Wars” game. I hear that’s going to be pretty big. [smiles]” which is perhaps just a nice diffusion to their other games or a hint on mass effect 2 multiplayer scenarios (Check out The Old Republic at oldrep.co.uk)
We cant wait to read more and we cant wait for mass effect 2 even more!
